Corporate Profile
The Luvata Brazing Center in Västerås, Sweden was established in 1999 for the purpose of fabricating and testing prototypical designs on behalf of prospective manufacturers of CuproBraze products.
For many manufacturers and OEMs, the decision to produce CuproBraze heat exchangers begins with a trip to the Luvata Brazing Center to verify specifications and procedures prior to committing to full-scale production. As a result, the Luvata Brazing Center is a breeding ground for new heat exchanger designs.
The Luvata Brazing Center has cooperated with many prospective manufacturers on preliminary research and development of CuproBraze heat exchanger. Besides mechanical testing of burst pressures and pressure cycling lifetimes, it has also performed corrosion testing and wind tunnel tests.
The Brazing Center is mentioned in the following ICA Executive Reports
