CUPROBRAZE ALLIANCE:
MATERIALS SUPPLIERS, EQUIPMENT MAKERS
AND HEAT EXCHANGER MANUFACTURERS UNITE

New York – Brought together by a common purpose, to facilitate the implementation of CuproBraze technology by the global automotive industry, key materials suppliers, equipment makers and heat exchanger manufacturers have joined to form the CuproBraze Alliance. Recognized by their peers as reliable suppliers of materials, equipment and services, members of the CuproBraze Alliance are committed to the on-going advancement of CuproBraze technology and the establishment of world-class manufacturing facilities.

Since 2000, CuproBraze plants have begun production around the world, with facilities in the United States, France, Japan and Russia. New production lines are scheduled to open this year in China and other regions in Asia. The most recent success was the establishment of a high-volume production facility at SHAAZ in Shadrinsk, Russia, which uses the most sophisticated technologies currently available.

The CuproBraze Alliance formalizes various affiliations and partnerships that developed over time as member companies worked closely in the establishment of new technology and production lines. Members agree to the bylaws of the alliance and contribute to a fund used to further the development of CuproBraze products and processes.

The alliance provides a forum to share real world experiences, which can be invaluable to prospective heat exchanger designers and manufacturers. Compared to alternative technologies, regardless of production volume, the CuproBraze process allows for more flexibility in manufacturing. By working with the alliance new manufacturers can determine the combination of equipment that makes sense for them.

“The adoption of CuproBraze technology by automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and top-tier auto parts suppliers is likely to expand at increasing rates in the coming years,” said Anthony Lea, Vice President of the International Copper Association. “As more and more OEMs recognize the superior performance and affordability of CuproBraze products, demand will increase rapidly.”
