FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

For The First Time, CuproBraze Alliance
      Participated in China Auto 2004

Developing Countries Like China Will Be The Best Target Market For The CuproBraze Technology

On June 9th-16th 2004, the CuproBraze Alliance members, headed by Outokumpu Copper Strip AB, have for the first time participated in China Auto 2004. Nine esteemed members including Seco/Warwick Co., BrazeTec GmbH and Vacuum Schemelze GmbH participated in the show.

Experts from the Alliance have many in-depth technical exchanges and seminars directly with the Chinese automotive industry. Keeping the pace with the rapid growth of Chinese automobile industry and increasing demands from the local consumers, the biyearly China Auto Show has become more and more impressive. The scale of the exhibition, in terms of exhibits, exhibitors and show areas, has increased year by year and it has become the spotlight of the world automotive industry and public media. There is no doubt that it has become one of the largest and most influential exhibitions in the automobile industry both nationally and internationally.

For the first time after the mass production in 2002, SHAAZ (Shadrinsk Auto Aggregate Plant, Russia), the biggest existing CuproBraze heat exchanger manufacturer, also a member of the Alliance, has participated the show in a separate booth. Exhibits from SHAAZ include radiators, charge air coolers and many other advanced products that have drawn wide attentions from Chinese automotive heat exchanger industry. This will greatly strengthen the confidence of local heat exchanger manufacturers and activate the local market for CuproBraze technology in China.

Along with the rapid development of China economy and Chinese automobile industry, there is no doubt that China will become one of the most important markets in the world. CuproBraze Alliance, with its focus on the promotion of advanced heat exchanger production technology; consolidating technical cooperation with the Chinese automotive industry and pushing forward the related enterprises to the competitive edge, has drawn much more attention from the local automotive industry. Several Chinese local enterprises have already shown their great interests in joining the Alliance. We believe that the enrollment of the new Chinese Alliance members will dramatically increase the speed of application and localization of CuproBraze technology in China. We are also quite confident that this technology will be more and more beneficial for the development of Chinese automotive industry.
